Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Our Lady of Lourdes Conference
Serving People | Restoring Hope

818-349-1500 ext. 149 | svdpoll@ollnr.org

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international lay organization of men and women inspired by Gospel values.  Our conference works on behalf of our parish to aid the needy of our community.  Volunteer members take calls and offer assistance to the poor and lonely.  The society provides direct, tangible assistance (food, clothing, and household necessities), financial help, emotional and spiritual support, and more through one-on-one interaction with those in need.  We pray for God’s grace to guide us in service.

All requests for assistance are kept entirely private. To request assistance call 818-349-1500, Extension 149 or by e-mail to svdpoll@ollnr.org

Bundle Sunday
The St. Vincent de Paul truck is parked in the parish parking lot every three months on the 2nd Sunday of the month to receive donations of used furniture, household goods, working small kitchen appliances, and clean used clothing. For free pickup of large tax-deductible donations such as appliances, furniture, and vehicles, please call St. Vincent de Paul at 800-974-3571 or 323-224-6280.

Financial Contributions
Financial contributions are essential to the work of St. Vincent de Paul.  Parishioners are encouraged to continue their long tradition of generosity and charity. Please send your donations (checks payable to the St. Vincent de Paul Society - OLL) to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 18405 Superior St., Northridge, CA 91325.

Get Involved
The St. Vincent de Paul Conference at Our Lady of Lourdes meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Moran Center. All are invited to join this ministry and serve those in need.

September 21, 2024 - Johnny Carson Park, Burbank, CA

The Friends of the Poor Walk/Run began as a national program with the purpose of providing local Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Conferences and Councils the additional funds to help support their special works projects. Today, that philosophy continues, with Conferences and Councils using the funds from this event to help people living in poverty.

On Saturday, September 21, with a friend (or ten), join us for a friendly walk around Johnny Carson Park. We are joining our brothers and sisters from the St. Finbar Conference. It will be held at:
